Peace Out 2020

Okay, we’ve got a couple weeks left to get through but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Trying to stay positive in the uprise of panic and uncertainty truly is exhausting and we’re all in it together. We’re all sitting here hoping 2021 will bring on something amazing even if it’s just a break from the day to day bologna. Maybe a chance to away for a weekend with your significant other, friends, or even a family game night which I will most definitely be setting up as soon as we can.

What about the horses you say? They’ve had a bit of a break… I keep trying to justify their time off because if things were normal and my pet-sitting business hadn’t taken the pause that it did, I would be working a million hours a week and not been at the barn anyway. I keep thinking that they’re bored but in reality, it’s me. Not being busy was great at first but now that we’re in the homestretch during my busiest time, it’s hitting me of how much I haven’t actually done. Finding the bright side of this is enjoying the break and enjoying the time with JB ❤️ He’s been my rock during this whole thing and I am feeling so lucky that I have him.

Goals for the upcoming year include putting our wedding album together, before our 2nd anniversary. Another goal is to finish the upstairs and other house projects I’ve been dying to do. Blogging? Also at the top of the list. I need to work on being accountable for myself and at least posting once a month. Unsure if people still read but I can put it out there still. More media, more videos, more horses, and most of all – Family Time. What else could a girl ask for? Oh. A puppy…

To be continued…

  1. I still read and it makes me happy 😊 This time of year is definitely way different because of the pandemic, but chin up! You have lots of people that love you and don’t forget that you are also someone’s rock ❤️

  2. Also still here, and I hope you find time to keep blogging! It does get harder as you get more responsibilities and less time, but I find it worth it to prioritize it, even if these days most of my posts get drafted on Sunday because I don’t have time during the week.
