I knew I was forgetting to do something last night as I stuffed a giant burrito into my mouth around 8:45 last night.
Most definitely paying for that today.
But I have news!! Great news!! Exciting news!!

The boys and I have been selected as Brand Ambassadors for some of our favorite products. If you don’t know already, Back on Track USA is a company that produces quality performance and recovery products for not just horses, but people and pups too!
I remember when the Mesh Sheets first hit the shelves and if you didn’t have one, you were doing it wrong. Then the Quick Wraps came and I couldn’t wait to use those for everything. Since then, my collection has grown just a bit and not just for Brantley and Dylan, for me as well.
I tripped a fell down some stairs in college (definitely wasn’t the first or the last time) and my ankle grew three sizes too big. After a trip to the walk-in and a chat with my doctor, I popped the Ankle Brace into my cart and it’s my favorite thing next to kinesiology tape for support.
What else you may ask that I have in my kit for people? The Back Brace. Let me tell you. I think wearing this along with my favorite Hempzilla CBD Lotion is the reason I could walk down the aisle for my wedding. Back support was not the only thing we’ve used it for! Jeff recently broke a few ribs sparing at the gym and took it on his business trip because a regular wrap wasn’t doing the trick.
I am so excited to explore the products they’ve come out with since the beginning. I’ve enjoyed watching their booth grow every year when I visit at the Equine Affaire in Springfield, MA and can’t wait to see what they come out with next!

I’ve been filling my calendar with every event and group ride I see pop up on Facebook. I’m not trying to overwhelm my calendar or my wallet, but I want this year to be full of pony adventures. Obviously we don’t have to pay a dime to get out to Arcadia or visit my favorite little park, but I really want to strap on those white breeches again.

It’s crazy to think where Brantley and I started back in 2011 and what Facebook memories bring up years later. He’s going to be 17 in a few weeks and he’s ready to get back to it. I am too. Obviously after all this good weather we’ve been having, we finally got the snow we’ve been waiting for. Although I love snow, I’d like to get back in the saddle sooner rather than later. Thanks Mother Nature, love ya!

I’ve just rolled into my second month of chemically induced “balance” and I feel a level of excitement and motivation that I’ve been missing for… well… a while. I’ve been raw dogging life way too long and finally taking the step to face it has been the best thing I’ve done for myself in a long time.
Take the step for yourself. Be honest with the people around you. Be more honest with the doctor supporting you. Don’t take no for an answer. There’s power in having a diagnosis and I feel it.
Get out there. Do the thing. Until next time…
Asking for help is never a sign of weakness. It’s one of the bravest things you can do. And it can save your life.
